Q: "We live in Chula Vista, but we're always looking for new parks to take the kids to play. Do you have a tip for us?"
~ Leticia, Chula Vista
A: We sure do. Make a day of it –go to Pacific Beach early in the day and then head up to Kate Session’s Park in Pacific Beach just below Mt. Soledad. This park has over 70-acres of grassy hills for sprawling out, rolling around, and even kite flying. The park has play equipment, restrooms, and water fountains. If you want to bring "Fido", he/she must be on a leash. The piece de resistance, however, is that Kate Session’s Park has one of the best views in all of San Diego. Depending on where you pick your spot, you’ll be able to see Fiesta Island, Mission Beach, Bay Park, Mission Hills, and downtown. This tip is a two-fer! It is good for kids and it is good for adults.
